| The latest Version of Aurelio is 1.2 (Release Date:
04/Mar/2004) New!
The new features and enhancements in this version include:
Redesigned program interface (Menu structure , toolbar and status
bar) to become much easier to use.
All the image effects (previously known as pixel
shaders) could be done now on any computer , so you don’t need any
more a VGA card with a ‘Programmable pixel shaders’ hardware to
apply the image effects , but if ‘Programmable pixel shaders’ is
present it will enhance the performance.
Removed the 30 execution times limit of the demo , now you can try the demo for 30 days without any
limitations on the number of execution times.
Added the ability to import images form digital
devices (Scanners , Digital cameras , …etc.).
Fixed the issue of the program crashing on some
systems when you return from the full screen mode to the normal
mode.
Better ability to manipulate the image list by adding (Select
All , Select None , Next image , Previous image , First image ,
Last image , Start slide show and End slide show) buttons to the
toolbar.
Better ability to manipulate the effect intensity
by adding (Increase effect and Decrease effect) buttons to the toolbar.
Added the information of image file size and
date as well as image zoom percentage to the status bar.
The mouse cursor will turn to a magnifying glass
cursor if the program is in the zoom mode , and will turn to a hand
cursor if the program is in the pan mode.
Fixed some minor print preview issues.
Enhanced new look and feel as well as functionality for folders
and drives in the browser window.
The program now gives a warning if it can't find a 3D accelerated
vga card on your computer , then it continues to work as usual.
The new features and enhancements in version 1.1 include:
The Art Draw 2 and Negate Pixel Shaders are now adjustable by mouse
wheel or ‘+’ or ‘-‘ buttons , so all the
pixel shaders are now adjustable by mouse wheel or keyboard.
The emboss pixel shader has been enhanced , it has now 8 light
source directions instead of four , also it became adjustable by
mouse wheel and key board , instead of keyboard only , (You can
press the ‘+’ or ‘-‘ and watch the light
source circulating around the image producing an attractive effect).
The program now saves all pixel shader states , so you can adjust
the intensity of all the pixel shaders as you desire and the program
will remember them the next time it executes.
Pixel shaders reset , which sets all pixel shader effects to their
default values and return to normal mode (i.e. without any pixel shaders applied).
Enhanced Printing algorithm , which produces very accurate results
specially when pixel shaders are applied , and also fixed the issue
of not accurately prints images of high brightness and artdraw1
pixel shader applied.
Enhanced panning , producing better and more accurate image movement
with the mouse.
Automatic file associations has been removed.
Fixed a bug in the high precision pixel shader benchmark.
Fixed the issue of the mouse wheel when in full screen having
a different wheel steps than the normal mode.
Added a 3DStereo image sample with a file name of “Stereo.jps.”
